Food Preparation Board

The aim of this project for Peta [UK] Ltd. was to create a market competitor disability kitchen equipment. The FPB-1 offers improved functionality of features common to all-inclusive chopping boards and uses a stylish and attractive mix of sustainably sourced Hevea (Rubberwood), cork and stainless steel.

The look of the board negates the stigma attached to many cheap, plastic disability living products and fits comfortably in any modern kitchen.

The board features:

• a gentle vice for holding foods for chopping and jars/bottles to undo lids.
• food skewers for slicing and peeling of small foodstuffs.
• grating and slicing dishes with a handy catching an serving plate.
