What is The Food Prep Board
FPB is a daily living aid created for PETA [UK] Ltd. With FPB, those of us with upper-body physical limitations are afforded a measure of freedom and independence in the kitchen. The unit is carefully designed to make light work of the common food preparation processes.
The Project
With a Hevea 'Butcher's Block' base-board and polished stainless-steel attachments, the FPB exudes quality and serves to destroy the stigma of disability living aids. PETA [UK] strive to make inclusivity in design the norm, and make thier customers feel as comfortable in their surroundings as possible. The FPB successfully marries the needs of its primary users with style and longevity.
The Details
To differentiate itself from the array of competitor products, the FPB introduces high-quality materials synonomous with the modern kitchen to a market sector otherwise occupied with austerity. The unit includes a soft clamp for a variety of one-handed operations, a reversible skewer for holding small items in place fo cutting, and a neatly concealed nest of grating and slicing dishes.
