What are Jobeez?

Jobeez are a tongue-in-cheek, cynical view of the world of unemployment. The project itself was a passive aggressive response to the 300th job application posted after my graduation in 2009.

The Project

Your stereotypical American film: Man looks for apartments/jobs, woman comes home from work and says "what have you done today?", man unfolds newspaper to reveal a forest of red circles. Used as a device to placate the looming sensation of doom that the unemployed (and speaking from a wealth of experience) feel on a day to day basis. Jobeez allow us to transcribe this feeling into the remainder of our vapid lives, and gives partners the opportunity to remotely mock each other.

The Details

The core concept of Jobeez is a play on the humble post-it note. The red circle marks a window to the subject, with room to make notes. Jobeez are numbered to keep track of futile searches and have a box to utilise as you wish. This die-cut printed product is sure to aggrovate anyone who has the misfortunate need to use it. Just a bit of fun!
